Delivering Social Value through collaborative commercial activity
What’s the best way to deliver social value through the procurement of a major infrastructure project? In this piece, we hear from the team working on the South Wales Metro.
The pressures on projects at this scale to focus on the delivery of the project are huge. So, my recommendation if you are looking to improve the procurement process with social value in mind is to recognise that what you have to have is individuals who are focused and dedicated to social values. Otherwise it will be swept aside by the pressures of a major project delivery.
